JOSEPH LEHMANN
Dr. Joseph Lehmann has two complementary activities: as a researcher in the academy and as an entrepreneur and manager of a technology start-up company. His research interests include understanding and interpretation of speech, the theory of extended mind, integrated mind-body theories of consciousness and bioethics. Within his industrial work he is involved with the research and development of electro-chemical technologies and processes for wastewater treatment within the field of environmental sciences. During the years 2012-2019 he was a research assistant to Prof. Bar-Ilan in the field of bioethics. In 2016-2017 he was the General Secretary of the International Association for the Study of Controversies (IASC). Dr. Lehmann holds a BsEE degree (with honor) from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, and MA (with honor) and PhD in Philosophy, both from Tel-Aviv University.
